Originally in the movie there was another character called Venus who was to be played by Kidada Jones, who was in about five scenes (which were all cut). She is however shown in some TV previews for the film, such as Faculty-Tommy Hilfinger ads and commercials. She is also visible in a scene in the theatrical version, standing next to Gabe in Mr Furlong's science class when they are looking at the "new (alien) species" in the tank. Though she doesn't have a line, Mr Tate says to her as he was her holding up and sticking her to the wall: "Where are your friends?"
